Announcements :

The Avon Lions Club is located in the town of Avon,Connecticut U.S.A. We are part of District 23-B Connecticut. Connecticut has 3 Districts. We were sponsored by the West Hartford Lions Club on June 18, 1951.

Activities :

Our goals have been to serve others in need. Our last major project was to raise $40,000 to provide 2 Fidelco Guide Dogs for the blind.Our yearly fund raisers consist of our Annual Harvest Breakfast, our Annual Pasta Supper, Avon Day.

All of these events do well and help support our yearly donations to the Town,the District and Lions International. The club is active in our District 23-B projects and has had 3 members serve as District Governor as well as members serving on the District 23-B Cabinet,the Lions Low Vision Center Board and the Lions Adviseory Board to the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation.
